LAW 21.420 “RECENT AMENDMENTS TO THE MINING CODE”

Exposition and scope of the recent reform to the Mining Code published in the Official Gazette on February 4, 2022, which modifies matters related to: validity of exploration concessions, migration of all current mining concessions to the SIRGAS Datum, increase in the cost of annual mining patents, modifications to the mining protection, new requirements for obtaining reductions in annual mining patents, changes in the processing times in the exploitation concessions regarding applications for survey and operation for survey, obligation to deliver geological information.
